Description
I'm not from Boston, nor from the US, but I like the Bruins and I like to do these Armchair-Teams. So I gave it a try. I gave Chara a one year contract and I think, if he would want to play another season, he'd accept the money I gave him. I've seen Krug getting bigger contracts on here, he probably does deserve 0.5 mill. more, but not the money like Josi oder Hedman. Pietrangelo too will get more. If we have to consider COVID-19, I don't think he gets much more than 7-7.5 mil over seven years. Perhaps in his hometown Detroit, who knows...
I didn't resign Nordstrom because there are young guys who should get his ice-time and Lindholm is here too next year. Cehlarik will sign in the Swiss League, so no resigning him. Brett Ritchie sucked in Dallas and he did in Boston, so bye! The worth and length of DeBrusk's contract is difficult for me to predict. I don't think he is in the region yet of a extension like Gourde got. I like the contract Kapanen got, so there it is.
So now, I still have 1.5 million in capspace left, so Krug, Chara and DeBrusk could even get more if necessary. And if there would be a suitor, I could trade John Moore to give Vaakanainen his roster spot and have another 2 million more in capspace.
What I didn't do, is upgrade the team via trade. After this regular season, the team doesn't need a big overhaul, but we have to see how the playoffs play out... what do you think on my team?

Grzelcyk probably gets more money unless he takes a discount. Had DeBrusk around $3,5M on a bridge deal so this deal works.
Studnicka playing in top9 or in Providence.

Other than that, great work and well explained.

Everything looks good but Grzelcyk gets more money. For that reason I jettison Moore. Also I would want Kuhlman. Frederic and Senyshyn to get some ice-time so I would Probably trade Lindholm. Not a must cause of how cheap the contract is but just getting crucial experience would be better for some prospects.

I think your off by a million on both Krug and DeBrusk money wise, ar least AAV wise.
