Well, he is a power play specialist now, so thar happens some times. That also means that the other 52 games he played in he only had 20 points. Lots of players who suck do that

He actually wasn't good on the power play this year. Most of those are even strength...

5 of his 7 goals and 14 of his 35 points were on the power play

And 20 of his 35 points came from even strength hence why I said "most"

And 5 of his 7 goals, when you score almost all your goals and nearly 50% of your points on the power play, youre a power play specialist

Most of his production comes from even strength. The last 3 years almost 50% but still more even strength points.

Career wise, most of his production is even strength.

I dont think you like the fact that he's good on the power play AND he's good even strength

Thats why i said 'now' and hes not good on both, hes good on one (the power play) and middling at evens. 2 goals and 20 points ar even strength is not good at all

He's on a rebuilding team, use some common sense. Every players production goes down when their team becomes a dumpster fire.

Sorry to hear about your Leafs. 22M Marner/Matthew's looked lazy at times. Sad they couldn't be better in an elimination game.

He's playing 25 mins a night on the first pair and with the best players, he should be putting up more points than that for 11 million and not playing defence.

And Matthews looked great most of the series so whatever on that. Marner was about 50/50.
