At this point, Anaheim should consider themselves fortunate if someone offers them a bucket of pucks to agree to eat the $7M in contracts they need to ditch to sign Lindholm and Rakell. I would be very frustrated to hear that the Jets gave up any assets of value for a defenceman that they cannot protect in the expansion draft and even if they did, only has 2 years before UFA.

That's garbage for Fowler, Anaheim is in a win now mode and how does Petan help them there. I seriously doubt that BM would ever move Fowler to another Western team he will be traded to an Eastern Conference team at the draft Buffalo, Montreal and Detroit were in on Fowler no mention of any Western teams.
