I don't see why the Ducks would want to trade Lindholm. He's one of the bright spots on their weak team.

He has 2 years left on his contact and they're nowhere near competing in those 2 years. Same reason the Rangers traded McDonagh in 2017

if Lindholm goes on the market i think there would be other teams that beat this offer fairly easily

that's very fair to say. In that case, I like the idea, although I'd rather go after someone like Brodin or Dunn.
