The main issue with resigning clifford we lose our 2021 2nd. Matt Martin will be a UFA and probs will come cheaper, plus he and Marner are buds so i could see a return.

Marleau would be ideal, but he wants to retire a Shark.

i remember him saying that but if the sharks dont want him I could see him returning, he loved toronto and Matthews and Marner were like his extended family so it could workout. 4th line with Engvall and Spezza could be intriguing.

Irony...he still played the playoff games in Toronto after leaving.

Martin has scored more playoff goals this year than Marner, Kapanen, Kerfoot, Johnsson, Mikheyev, Engvall, Spezza, Goat and Robertson combined.
