I think Cizikas has to take a significant paycut to stay. He loves it here, but reality is 4th liner can't make mid $3's. Maybe the flat cap could take a $2m/1 or something so his family stays in comfortable surroundings.

Gotta remember expansion, I know it's not explained here but I anticipate Bailey being selected with Mayfield attached as a sweetener.

Other way to squeeze out more cap is buying someone out or moving a pick to free yourself from Hickey/Leo. I think there are a few way around making this work and keeping the important RFAs



I think Hickey is gone this offseason. He will be traded for a 4th rd pick is my guess.

You are right about expansion. I suppose if you move Bailey and Mayfield that’s another 6M or so that’s now cleared. I personally think Lou banishes Ladd to Robidas Island and Hickey, Leddy and Leo are traded.

I’ve come to the conclusion that this whole thing is possible if we sign barzal to a bridge deal and I absolutely hate myself for it hahaha
