I don’t think Buffalo can afford Sutter. They have a lot of RFA’s and it’s been reported they want to be under the cap. But I would love the idea of Gaudette.

As a Sabres fan, I don't see Adams doing any big trades as a rookie GM in one of the most complicated off season ever. Sutter might not be the second line centre that Buffalo fans expect but I still think that he can produces well and eats some minutes to allow Cozens to develop on the 3rd line with Gaudette as another option at centre, its a cheap low risk mid rewards that doesn't cost a huge assets for Buffalo and allow them to have flexibility and sign both Dahlin and Jokiharju next season without any problem and not risking loosing much in the expension draft. Also, Sutter is the kind of guy that Kruger loves and can be a good leader in the locker room.
