The ANA trade actually hurts their cap situation instead of helping. You would need to take Stoner, Despres or Fowler.

What he said. However they're cap is really bad, so even a partially retained Stafford likely isn't what they're looking for. They need ELCs in return for one of those guys who can play immediately in the top 9. Someone like Dano, Connor, Petan
