Not sure we need to sign Miller; just let Kivvy be the backup. And (assuming we sign them for more than just 3 year bridge deals), Dubois likely costs more than $7M, and Domi likely more than $5M. Otherwise... I like this a lot. Not sure either Montreal or Edmonton fanbases will think it's likely, but this is close to an ideal offseason in some ways.

I like a lot Andy and not sure if I want to get a RD with same term and age than Petry.. as Savard will fit as a 3RD...
But you can chip in Murray instead and we will add Kulak as both are 3LD... It will fit better MTL roster

We're already overstuffed at D, so Kulak isn't necessary... would you think Anderson + Murray gets it done for Domi without a pick as a sweetener?

I would think yes... Domi is a no need in MTL anymore and we need different type of forward like Andy.
and I understand that you don't need any D but MTL would have 89NHL contract at D... so in case Harrington is fringe NHL 3LD, Kulak give you depth on the left side... but you do have 5 RD!
I think you can call Toronto and send one for Johnson... maybe Natu or Kukan

Heck, if we can get even a 4th or 5th for Harrington, I'd get blackmail material on Jarmo and force him to make that move. Thinking out loud:

I just feel like the smart thing to do for players would be to take bridge and then try to get bigger contract when the financial picture of the league is better. If we could sign PLD or Domi (especially PLD) to longer-term contracts, then I'm all for it

I appreciate your comment, I was adding Savard to it mainly because he still is playing top4 defense and is also from Montreal so while he doesn't have term, I don't think it would be hard to get him to sign an extension due to being back home. I truly thought no one would ever take Murray, that's why he wasn't included. I think Nutivarra will be taken by THE KRAKEN next year

You are right on Nuti.. but Murray Healthy is a TOP4 d in most anyteam... especially on the left side for MTL
