Holland was clear since taking over that was the priority the flat cap just adds more reason to bring him back because he won’t command a high salary and carries all the traits Holland tried to add at deadline to play with mcdavid. Speed, good shot, with a better stronger frame than AA. Really think he’s nearly untouchable atm.

I don’t think Holland wants to trade JP but if he can solve their goaltending issue he might.

Too many other options to fix it and he’s not likely to look for a long term replacement until kosk burns more term off his deal maybe next offseason.
