I know he’s a center. It’s for his first year. I rather have him play winger and get the feel for the NHL than throw him into a fire. He absolutely is there future number 2 center but to get him comfortable playing in the NHL wing would be the best start for him

It’s going to be a draft pick around the 22-30th overall in the first round plus a bottom 6. That is more than fair for a 25 year old pp, pk defenseman. He would be on NJ PP1 immediately.

In my opinion, I would go after other defensemen. I don't think he's the guy the Devils target given the guys we currently have on the right side (Severson and Subban).
