Description

Debrusk for Nurse is the type of "hockey trade" that is easy to fathom, BOS is possibly seeing a changing of the guard on the back end and EDM is desperate for skilled FWDs to play alongside 97, 29 & 93.

One thing I could live without is the John Moore add but BOS would likely want to ship out a LHD contract if adding a $5.6M contract to the mix. I would much rather a Halak deal be focused around Debruck and Halak to EDM.

As for Debrusk, would he take a similar extension as to what Vrana took ? 2yrs x $3,350,000 = $6,700,000

Is there a specific reason they wouldn't? He is 22 and could still become a good NHLer, Holland and JP have apparently been in contact working to mend the fences

What do you think would be different for PuJu now in Edmonton compared to the Oilers when he was playing for them ? What has PuJu done to improve his attitude towards the NA game ?

Well for one a good coach that doesn't punish him for every little mistake and have him tattooed to Lucic all season. Additionally JP has probably matured as a person.
As for the North American game, he's healthy once again which will help but as for specific areas of his game only time will tell. He has looked strong in the SHL, shooting and carrying the puck

Problem I see with that is Domi is going onto contract #3 whereas Debrusk is going onto contract #2 therefore Domi is going to want his pay day. With Debrusk a bridge deal is still an option whereas with Domi I do not believe it is. As for the player I'd take Domi in a instant.
