It was reported yesterday that fast and the rangers are mutually interested in a contract extension in the 3.2 mill AAV range

Fast met with Gordon and Quinn recently and he thinks he can get 4 mill on the open market, he said he’s open to take a discount which is why 3.2 is the likely number if he stays with the rangers. Maybe 3 mill if he gets 4 years
