Is this fair value for Dunn

Description
First Rangers AGM just trying to get opinions. Trouba's partner most of the time in Winnipeg was Josh Morrissey so I figured if he got a similar player to Morrissey in Vince Dunn he would play much better. This would give the Rangers a really solid first pairing and gives the Blues a lot of assets for Dunn

Package value is plenty good. The problem is it likely costs us cap space we can't afford and weakens a Cup chaser now.

I figured Buchnevich is the backup plan if Tarasenko goes on LTIR for awhile. Obviously if he doesn't then it'd probably be another prospect. Also Robertson isn't far off from being NHL ready and fits St. Louis style of big defensemen

idk seems like a lot to pay. buch for dunn straight up might should be the trade, maybe add a little but not much to get the trade done. buch is on a 3,25 contract. the league has shown that cheap salaries bring back a nice return.

It is a lot to pay but i will say this as a NYR fan, I would rather see this then some of these offers like Andersson and a 2nd for Dunn.

little too much imo. I don't think you need Robertson in there.

Probably a touch of an overpay but I’d have to imagine there would be several suitors if Dunn was on the market. Probably gonna have to overpay to get him. I like the thought of the trade though

"Not being far off from the NHL" is a looooong way from covering the loss of Parayko. As for Buch, Tank isn't going to miss much of the season, and Army already stated he's not looking to spend cap replacing him.

Except the Blues don't want Buch, and highly value Dunn. So... there's that.
