He actually only has a Limited NTC so he would be traded somewhere if Tampa chooses to trade him. I can think of a lot worse places to go like Montreal.

He can deny half the teams in the league. Pretty sure EDM would be one of them. Why would also take less money after tax and overall better quality of life over EDM?

Maybe to have a chance to play with McDavid. He only plays with Stammer and Point on the PP and when Stamkos comes back he’s going to play 4th line minutes (he did it for half the season this year and still put up all those points)

Because playing with McDavid automatically gets you past the 1st round, right? LOL

Killorn was playing 2nd line minutes before Stamkos injury. He averaged 17+ minutes in the regular season alone.

Maybe he would waive, maybe he wouldn’t but he will get traded somewhere if Tampa chooses and playing with McDavid seems like a lot better situation then other places he could go. As far as Bear is concerned, there is a lot of talk in Edmonton that Bear will accept a one year contract similar to what DeAngelo did in New York.
