A lot of moving pieces, and I'd like to see NJ pull this off but I don't think Minnesota gets enough value in return, especially considering you have them giving up two second round picks. The Arizona pick is 18th, so it should yield NHL talent but the remaining pieces are all not so great. McLeod has basically been a bust and Okhotyuk is a wild card.

Agree largely, but I still see upside in McLeod...I see him being a Blake Coleman type as a finished product...ideally they wouldn't even make these moves & find temp stay at home defenseman to buy time for Bahl, Misyul, Walsh & hopefully they draft Schneider or Guhle or both
