I think they will because they love picking french kids, plus you guys are shopping domi or ryan so you need a new top centerman

only reason I have him going 15th is because the leafs need a r shot d man. He is the best one around besides branden who will picked before 15 to me

You realize kotkaniemi and Suzuki are a thing right? We also haven’t drafted a French guy in a while. We don’t need another centre especially a playmaker who gets hurt. Hope we take Perrault

kot right now should be a winger, guy cant be consistent at center

No way habs take Lapierre at 16. Because of his history of concussions i woudnt be surprised if he falls into the second round. If Dawson Mercer is off the board by 16 I would love the habs to take Noel Gunler

Could be a great pick. Bit of a reach based on most projections, but it could turn out well for them, imo.

It could but why do it? Kotkaniemi a d Suzuki are 1-2. So you’ve used pick 16 on a shutdown 3c, makes no sense. I hope we take Perrault who is a big, fast, forward who can score and pass pretty solid

I was referencing Perrault in my last comment. Sorry, I didn't make that very clear.

I'm with you on the Lapierre thing, as well. Personally, I'd advise against taking him in the 1st round at all, unless perhaps you have multiple picks and are willing to go high risk/high reward with one.
