Literally no one in this thread is making the argument that those players are bad or wouldn't make the teams better, and I have no idea where you're getting it from. Everyone is trying to tell you that it's unrealistic to expect Palat, Johnson, and McDonagh to waive their NTCs for those teams, that's it.

So why don't you see why they'll accept and take them to the playoffs to prove that they'll do good without Hedman, Stamkos and Kucherov? I'd like to see them prove it

Because it's totally unrealistic to expect all three of them to think that way when it's much more likely that they enjoy playing with elite teammates and negotiated for full NTC's in order to avoid exactly this kind of scenario.
