Description

I put MIttelstadt with Reinhart and Staal because I think they play at about the same pace and their styles might mesh. I wanted to keep Cozens at center and give him guys that might play at a bit of a quicker pace to match his style. eichel gets 2 elite finishers.

stayed as close as i could to the 70 million "internal cap" although i think its close to 70 million in cash vs AAV. Miller comes home for a swan song and the chance to play and possibly be moved to a contender at the deadline if (when) buffalo is eliminated.

Like your thinking on lines but I still want a established top 6 winger over Mitts, if he flops again we are in trouble. This kid has proven nothing yet to be put in the top 6...just to big a gamble for me.

If it doesn't work we move on, but we had guys like Curtis Lazar, Vlad Sobotka and Michael Frolik playing top 6 minutes last year. He can slide down to the 3rd line, or move back to the AHL if it doesn't work. We aparently have an internal budget, so figuring him instead of signing a UFA makes sense from that perspective too.

No thanks on Montour. Miller however I'd take a flyer on but not for McCann. Pens should keep McCann

I would rather not put cozens and mittelstadt together, but whatever.
