Big Name Free Agents

Where do you guys think the big free agents are gonna end up next year?

Where would LV find 9M to sign Petrangelo? They have under 5M room with 4 or 5 bodies to sign. Moving MAF will only free up cash to keep Lehner(they would likely retain 1M or more). They basically need to move Fleury just to keep their team intact, adding a 9M player would require a Stone trade or moving out two 5M player(when you factor 800k-1M cost of a replacement body).

Detroit can afford Krug, but does he want to go where they are 3-4 years from the playoffs let alone contending?

I see Krug in Calgary as a better fit than Hall.

Hall to Montreal makes a lot of sense. They are in a position to improve and he is tired of losing. He said he preferred to play in Canada or a hockey market after NJ and Phoenix.

I think LA signs a relatively big player, not a great situation but lots of cap room.

The others make a lot of sense. Lundqvist and Hart is a good fit.
