NSH should be able to get a better deal than that. I don't think they consider that deal.

what do you think would be good value for ekholm?

For players, I could see them having interest in siegenthaler, kuzy, and vrana (if made available - might be hard to sign him). And they may do a picks + prospects deal too - they're are a lot of needs on NSH so I don't know which they'd tackle - top 6 help, defensive depth, or adding prospects which they are desperately need. I think that they would want the 2020 1st instead of the 2021 too.

I have a feeling Ekholm will get a return greater than his actual value because his contract is so good and the flat cap seasons will make it hard on teams to stay competitive.
