I like the bridge for Dubois, and the idea of Hall and Maroon. Has any player won the cup 3 straight years with 3 different teams???
Gavrikov is missing, he will be in the $3M-$3.5M range.
To sign him, I think they would keep Nutivaara, trade Murray first and then Savard if a 2nd contract is needed (to be moved).
I honestly don't see them paying Hall that much though.
Hall says he wants to go to a contender, and the Jackets are in perfect position (they have the coaching, the culture, the structure, solid D and goaltending, and the in-game strategy/game plan to succeed).
Top tier teams like Boston, Washington, Tampa, Pittsburgh, NYR just can't afford him.
I could see Jarmo trying to lure him with a $7M-$8M salary though.
It should be interesting to see how it plays out.
