no, as a leafs fan I have looked inward and achieved zen - petro is not what we need. We have good defencemen, Reilly, Muzzin. We have prospects on the way in 1-3 years. We have a good core, we have goaltending. We need to tweak the bottom 6 and add some competent guys to the right side blueline (Brodie, Gudas, Tanev etc)

Petro would handcuff this team's cap for 5-7 years and he'd only decline with age. We simply don't need that, we're better off spreading his wealth throughout the lineup

Its tough to say, we saw how Tampa won, Elite dmen in Headman and Sergachev but then they had guys that other teams had thrown away like luck schenn and Bogosian.
