CGY probably isn't giving up an asset to make a lateral move. They aren't even looking for bottom 6 C depth. Nor do they want to give up assets for a rental goalie in a flooded goalie market in which they can bring in a superior goalie for free or a similar goalie for cheaper. If you want to discuss moving a top 6 FWD then that likely leads to a discussion.
