Ryan isn't a cap dump, and if that's the cost on Toffoli we're probably out, we need a top 4 RD more

You're not wrong but man the D market sucks. There's Barrie, Vatanen, Tanev, Stecher, TVR.... ummm... that seems to be about it for actual top 4 guys we could afford and I don't really love any of them. I'm assuming if we're in a cap crunch teams will play hard ball for Ryan. I wouldn't be opposed to a Hanifin for a RD swap or a RW swap if we sign Barrie but that seems far fetched.

If we go for Toffoli, Mangiapane is probably trade bait for a D, with Lindholm, Chucky, Johnny, and Toff in the top 6 and Dube there soon, there isn't much room for him and his likely cap hit on the 3rd line unfortunately. If not then I wouldn't be opposed to bringing back Hammer, or adding one of Tanev, Barrie, or Vatanen for the right price. Stecheer might be cheap but I'm not sure if he's a top 4 guy. TVR is a depth guy, bottom pair D.
