You don't need this many moves for a team like the Bruins. Why would the Bruins do that Philly trade? They just got Kase and they will trade him? I will keep DeBrusk over Killorn and the Buffalo trade doesn't make sense

Ghost has not been worth that kind of package for awhile now nor is he a top 4 guy. More of a 3rd pair an PP specialist.

Moore and 3rd would be the max i’d give up for him. If i’m moving that much for a dman, i’m getting a much better one.

Making a splash but with a bellyflop 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ghost would be a risk but a high reward risk. Offensive minded. Has the protection of Carlo on his right and would probably play great in the bruins system.

Kase is useless.
Killorn is a 30 goal playoff performing Stanley cup winner.

Halak was traded to get under the cap. Would prefer to keep him. Figured Lazar would be a sneaky scratch forward. Good player.

Look me in my virtual eye and tell me that this team isn’t better than our current team?

Moore still has negative value... 3rd pairing D are a dime a dozen.

Adding Hoffman alone does that.

Otherwise no. You have added a pair that don’t play defense at all In Hoff and Ghost and lost the security of Halak.

Added some offense while getting worse defensively. It’s a team built for good regular season but playoff failure.

Better? Maybe. Realistic? Not at all but this is the difference of an ACGM on CapFriendly and real life.

Lazar is an AHLer. Vladar isn't even guaranteed to be ready. You don't trade a 2nd+good 2nd liner for a dmen like Gostisbehere that has regressed. " but a high reward risk " How do you know that? What if he's still the same player than he was the past year in Philly?

Killorn isn't a 30G scorer. He's averaged 18G-43 pts/82 GP in his career. The past three seasons, 25G-48 pts/82 GP. He just had a career year with one of the best Lightning teams, it's unlikely he repeats that. He's more of a middle-six guy who can play on the 2nd line if needed; 3rd line is perfect. He isn't an upgrade over DeBrusk, who also has the potential to be a 25-30G scorer.

" Kase is useless " Have you seen him play in the playoffs? He was great with DeBrusk and Krejci. Only lacked production and he has only played 20 games or so with the Bruins. 93% (92 over past 3 years) of Kase's goals in his career have been at even strength, something the Bruins really need: 5on5 scoring. Meanwhile, Hoffman (over the past three years): 59% at EV. He relies a lot on the PP and he wouldn't even be on the PP1 in Boston or if he does, Pastrnak gets the goals. he can still be a solid second liner but Kase is likely to bring you about the same offensive production; just more at EV.

As much as I wouldnt mind the trade. Buffalo cant do it for 2 reasons. 1) Halak refused to play the last time he was traded to Buffalo, and 2) unless we move some salary, we cant afford to do it. Reinhart 6.5-7.5 million range, Oloffson 3.5-4.5 million range, and Ullmark 2-2.75 million range.

I can't tell if your a bruins fan or if you just devalue their talent that much...Halak has been an unreal backup for that team. I would do Ghost for Kase 1 for 1, let alone add another young forward and a 2nd rounder...Nate Schmidt just got Vegas a 3rd round pick so that value is way off. Never been a huge DeBrusk fan, but I'd still value him higher than a guy like Killorn
