Description
Enough of this standing by and waiting game. Time for the B's to get proactive and take the initiative and offer-sheet Sergachev. There is zero risk - if the offer is rejected, then fine. If accepted, then also fine - it gets the B's a quality LD and takes a bite out of Tampa.

They re-signed Miller and Wagner, don't see them giving up on Ritchie this soon and nobody wants Moore. It's great to be " proactive ", if you aren't cap compliant and you're making bad depth moves, it's not gonna work. DeBrusk gets less $.

I'd want DeBrusk to take on Moore's contract.

Bolts match that offer, too, I think. They have till opening day to get under the cap and I’d bet that they’re fine with Sergachev at 5x6.5 (just like CAR was with Habs sheeting Aho last year). It takes all of the dragged out negotiations out of it and lands him at a decent price.

I agree that the Bolts would match the offer. However, the offer sheet by and in of itself, will put more apply more cap pressure on Tampa. Per Cap friendly, they presently have $2,895,834 of cap space. By matching, they will be $3,604,166 over the cap with both Cernak and Cirelli left to sign.

Then you’re not getting him. The B’s can bury him and save cash if need be. The B’s aren’t giving up a top 6 young player to dump a contract. That’s a joke

You say "then you're not getting him" like he's a commodity... lol.

I don't want him...

You literally said “i’d want him” if you were taking on Moore. I was referring to you not getting Debrusk. I should’ve specified. No reason for the B’s to move Moore at the moment either.

I agree but Bruins fans keep moving him every ACGM for nothing.

thats fair.. and i see the same stuff. with the B's 5 on 5 and depth scoring woes, moving Debrusk to get rid of a guy is backwards. Honestly, with the B's lack of LHD D depth its probably not the worst idea to hang on to him at this point.
