Agree to disagree now that Dermott signed i think Holl would have a better chance to progress elsewhere like a josh Leivo type scenario and if Toronto can upgrade a pick or gain a pick with an asset then its a win win

He’s a solid DMan but in the next couple years they will have to many to count gotta plan for the future or you will chase it forever👍

The Kings are looking for younger established players and prospects. I could see them consider receiving a player from a team needing to shed cap space with an adequate sweetner. Cap space and roster spots are extremely valuable right now and 3th/4th line/3rd pairing types who will be 30 years old plus when the Kings pipeline is ready to compete does not currently move their needle.

with the condensed schedule next season is set to be, you keep Holl so you can actually manage your players and avoid running them into the ground too quickly

and as for "in the next couple years they will have to many to count"

Bogo and Lehtonen are on 1 year deals

Bogo is probably a 1 and done, Lehtonen is a total unknown and potentially could be a bust and be gone 2 months in, so theres 2 guys off your "next couple years" potentially

and frankly if all you get for Holl is a 5th,,, you keep him, hes more valuable to your lineup than the return of a 5th
