I know this sounds crazy, but could Marc-Andre Fleury go to the Philadelphia Flyers? The most hated rivals of the Pittsburgh Penguins? Hear me out. The Flyers have been killing it offensively. As of the time I wrote this, they 5th in goals per game and have the 2nd best power play in the league. However, their defensive game has been atrocious. As of the time I wrote this, they are dead last in goal against per game and save percentage. Steve Mason has been awful in net, but most likely won't take a backup role. A goalie tandem of Fleury and Mason, similar to the Andersen-Gibson tandem the Ducks had last year, could push the Flyers into a playoff spot. If Mason doesn't like the tandem idea, then he can leave in the offseason with an expiring contract. For the Pens, Neuvirth could be a nice stop gap as a backup until Jarry is NHL ready, and Schultz could be the 7th defenseman if Pouliot isn't healthy or isn't playing well. I kind of threw Ruhwedel in there just to balance out the the 1st round pick, but he could be changed for other guys. I know this sounds insane, but could it happen?
