This is very similar to the trade I proposed last week. The problem with yours is it is not enough. Taveres is a superstar player in the same likes of a Stamkos. They would need to be blown away. We would need to give up Bjorkstrand or Milano too.

Vezina-caliber goalie. Deep defense. 1-2-3 punch down the middle. Depth on the wings. Yeah, I'd say that is worthy of cup contention.
