Potential 2017-2018 Canucks

Created by: jagrit691
Team: 2017-18 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: Dec. 7, 2016
Published: Dec. 9, 2016
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
It all depends on Elder's willingness to waive his no trade clause in the offseason and getting Alzner to sign.

Good depth on forward with guys like Baertschi, Granlund and Rodin (all hinging on his performance in the second half 16/17) able to move up into the top 6 when injuries happen. In the AHL there'll be guys like Zalewski, Grenier, Virtanen, Chaput, Megna and Labate knocking on the door in training camp and ready to be called up in the season. Lets assume Boeser will need some seasoning in the A before cracking the roster.

Defense has a nice balance of puck movers and shutdown guys. Pedan and Biega should be more than capable to step in and Subban will be thick in the fight for a roster spot.

If Miller is really an NHL goalie is he going to sign for just 2m? Alzner just 4.25m? Sbisca and his 3.6m taken by Vegas? To me it's some wishful thinking just to give the Canucks cap space.
