If a trade for a Ducks d-man happens, I would assume it would be Cam Fowler or Sami Vatanen. Vatenen being my preference if remotely possible.

Explain why this is horrendous?

The Bruins do need fixing, they have a ridiculous amount of center depth, and the thought of trading Spooner (young talent with potential) is stupid when we have Krejci, whos getting paid 7m to play second line center, Bergeron, and Backes who can easily fill in that second line center spot.
We need a top 6 fwd and to lose some salary.

Krejci for Silfverberg is even when you throw in that 3rd rounder, and Bieksa is a fair offer for strengthening the blue line. Danton Heinen just sweetens the pot for Anaheim and its yet another center who the bruins dont need. We have plenty of center depth
