Description

Not sure why the PLD chemistry is taking a while. These are rough ideas for lines. I know Maurice loves Thompson so this may never happen, but another skilled winger to make three more skilled/fast lines may help. Idk, I just know that Beaulieu isn’t the answer.
I also want Ekholm but I don’t this Chevy wants to lose DeMelo to expansion. Or give away more assets to get them not to take him. But if they want to compete for a cup this season, I’d pull the trigger today for both.

Was there supposed to be an Ekholm trade as well?

I don't think that gets Savard and I think they want to keep Niku to expose him to Seattle, make it the 2021 2nd for Savard and some B/C prospect.

They really need to roll three lines similar to what you have here but Maurice is never going to give up on Lowry at 3C so the options are limited.

These are the lines I'd like to see tried, will never happen with Maurice as coach though.

Not optimistic on the lines either. Interesting to take Schief out of the middle, can't see that happening. But it probably wouldn't hurt to try.

Thank goodness they got Stastny this offseason, he just gives them so many more options.
