Fluke team. Khudobin's back broke in the cup final from carrying them too much.

Literally been saying this for 4 months now & other Stars fans get straight up angry when I bring up that we shouldn’t have been anywhere near the SCF last season.

They played well against Calgary, ran into a severely injured Colorado team using an AHL goalie, and got carried by Khudobin’s world-class goaltending vs. Vegas.

Stars were not the 2nd best team in the NHL last season. They were the team that got hot at the right time & got fortunate with some beneficial breaks on their way to the SCF.

I 100% agree. Calgary lost a star in Tkachuk and also shat themselves in Game 6, they only beat the Avs due to the injury bug, and Vegas also shat themselves and Lehner underperformed. Then when they ran into a team that didn't **** the bed they got their asses kicked in every way possible, but Tampa deserved that cup due to the moves they made and how well they played.

Do I think they didn’t deserve to be in the playoffs? Nah, but fully healthy, they don’t get past Colorado.

A lot of Stars fans are complaining about this season because they made the Cup last year & they don’t realize that 75% of the Stars most recent games haven’t been good.

They struggled prior to the stoppage last year. They were a game or 2 away from losing their top-4 spot.

They played awful during the play-in seeding games.

Got hot during the actual postseason

And they’ve struggled this year.

I’m sorry, but based on their most recent games, the Stars are an average team that got hot for 25% of their games, as opposed to a Stanley Cup caliber team that’s been in a slump for 75% of those games.
