Detroit still passes, Not a single one of those guys is on Bertuzzi's level. That trade is bad for Detroit besides the NYI don't have the cap to resign Bertuzzi anyways.

Bolduc is the Islanders top prospect and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him in the top 6 in 21-22. I don’t see LLGM including him in a deal.

We don’t have the cap space or assets Detroit would want to make this deal. Bolduc is also going to be a regular on our defense within the next couple of years especially when it comes time to shed cap

Isles reject the value is fine but it isn’t in our interest to trade for Bertuzzi we don’t have the cap space and we are better off letting these guys especially bolduc and aho develop into top six defensemen to eventually replace guys like leddy and Greene and mayfield who we might lose to Seattle
