Rebuttal around what? The only thing remotely interesting about Strome is the way he hold his stick, besides that he is a horrible fit and not worth looking at. Howden has almost zero value and Blackwell is maybe worth a 4th as a 13th forward. I don't think I would move the Flames 1st alone for that package, especially while it's still in lotto pick range

Strome would literally be your second highest goal scorer and 5th in points at 19 most of which have been without panarin Blackwell would be top 10 in goals 11th in points for your team howden the idea would be to take a depth role nothing more

Great, he's still a horrible fit though. Strome is basically an inferior right handed version of Monahan. Can score goals but is a slow skater, poor defensively, heavily reliant on his wingers, and not physical despite his size. So hypothetically Calgary acquires Ryan Strome, cant put him on the Monahan line because that is a recipe for disaster. Ok so move Lindholm bavk to wing and put him at 2C, now our top 6 center are Monahan and worse Monahan. See the problem yet? To conclude, there is zero interest in Strome considering the price NYR would be asking.
