I think if the penguins are going to trade for Glendening they should keep the pick and send over Riikola.
DET could use some help on the blueline and Riikola is signed through next year.

But I have to be honest when I say that Glendening might not be an upgraded over Gaudreau. Who is playing really well. I mean FFS the guy's 5v5 stats, gets 60% of his starts in the Dzone and still has a 60% corsi and 59% FF. How do you pull that off the ice? You don't. Because doing that doesn't win you games. Now it's a small sample size of only 7 games. But if that's what we can expect going forward, what is Glendening but a 13th skater?
