Description

Nybeck has very high upside but I don't think he'll perform in the NHL below a top 6 role making him a giant boom or bust. Zion plus a 2nd should be a realistic haul for just over a year of Manson.

They want a 1st or an A tier prospect to start. You're only giving a late 2nd in a weak draft class and a C tier prospect.

I think the Canes could put a 2021 1st in play if a mid rounder from ANA is included too. Give up low 1st but maintain a dart throw for our scouting staff.

I'm aware of what they want and I think any GM giving that up should be fired. Manson is not a game-changing defenseman and does nothing but improve depth.

If a late 2nd was all it took Toronto would have traded for him a long time ago.

They might take Bokk and a 2nd for him.

Nybeck was a late 1st round talent in the 2020 draft but fell low due to size, I'm not sure where you got where he's a C tier prospect from. Plus Bob Murray will never get deals done because of his high asking prices similar to how the Canes were going to trade Faulk for Kase and he didn't budge.
