Wild pass. The trade doesn't make them better this year or next. They have a 2 year window with Staal/Koivu as 1/2C, and hopefully Parise can stay be held together with duct tape and chewing gum.

Spooner isn't a good fit. Spooner/Haula/Nino 3rd line has some potential, but it's a small line that isn't much of an improvement over what they have now. Spooner/Graovac/Stewart 4th line would be an improvement as a 4th line. He'll also need a raise next year and the Wild can't afford to give it.

McQuaid give a physical element the Wild lack on the back end, but he falls into the 6/7 area with Folin and Prosser.

Lauzon is interesting, but a few years away from the NHL. He could turn out to be a nice 2nd pair dman.

No! The Wild don't need another soft, finesse forward. If you want Brodin, start your offer with Brandon Carlo. Brodin has been fantastic this year!

P.S. I'm a huge Gopher hockey fan, please don't sign Ryan Lindgren for 2 more years.

The Wild are a team that is in love with the team they have and dont plan on trading one of their D until just before the expansion draft. As well, Trent Frederic isn't going to sign after this season and neither will Lindgren I suspect. They both seem like players in need of more time to develop.
