Yeah, Bennett is tearing it up rn. 4 goals in 7 games and over a point per game. If Zito trades him for scraps, he'd get fired. Panthers have over 14 million in the cap and all they have to sign are Duclair, Bennett, and maybe Driedger. These kinds of trades make no sense... And this ain't the first one I've seen.

Very true and I would imagine they do try to re sign Bennet but I believe that cap space is with Ekblad on the LTIR as well so they don't actually have 14 in space to sign everyone needed.
