Instead of CDH, make it Hamonic and it might get accepted.

Landeskog has regressed the last the years. I don't know why the price is so high on him. He is basically Brock Nelson with a few more assists, who by the way has gotten better these last 3 years.

As for Duchene, big pass on him for that deal. If we are in the top 4 this year we are getting a good player, we don't need a franchise one in the draft.

Sakic will have to back off of his demands a bit. This would be a very fair package and I'd have to say that Snow wouldn't add Hamonic over De haan.

It comes down to needing a change in culture. Strome and Nelson are two pieces that need to be moved. I'd personally take Landeskog over Nelson (Nelson will be in line for a raise in a few years which may end up being similar to Landeskog anyways).

Duchene is a big get for us. We don't need more prospects, we need a proven player ready to contribute immediately, allowing Mgmt to show JT they are ready to win now.

Columbus isn't going to accept it. They are already in need of cap space to sign other players.

That's fair, but I am sure another contender will be happy to take two veteran role players for a 3rd. They strike me as the type of players Torts wants on his teams.

If Colorado is earnest about rebuilding, they'd take that deal... but they're not. They're going to drag out the decision to rebuild for another few years unfortunately.
