on paper this looks great for both teams Blues get fleury who gives them a goalie who could help them make a run this year and next, and pitts get something in return
wont happen but.

Why would you want MAF? The crappy Wings just lit him up for 6 goals here the guy is definitely overrated.

Fleury is not an elite goalie. He's having his worst year. He's still better than Allen. A change of scenery would probably be good for Fleury. If he can play close to his career numbers that's more than good enough for the Blues.

I agree that Fleury is not the Goalie he used to be but he's still better than most. This trade definitely benefits the blues hockey wise but with the Flowers NMC this makes sense for both teams

If you actually watched the game, you would have seen fleury only really give up two goals out of six! The defense of the Penguins playing so terrible a junior team could have beat them! I agree that he isn't the same player, but don't blame him when we hang him to the dry!
