What I love most about this is the total versatility of players like Foligno, Hyman, Kerfoot, and Galchenyuk. They have the ability to play any spot in the lineup and will contribute. If Kerfoot made a million less or the salary cap didn't freeze, no one would hate him. I'm hoping Campbell can stay healthy through playoffs. If anyone goes down, having Brooks and Mikheyev as 14th and 15th forwards is no slouch. Hutton as a 7th d man... This team is ready for a deep playoff run. Mix of leaders and young guns reminds me a lot of 2010 Blackhawks.

Perfectly said regarding Kerfoot, can’t hate a guy for getting a big pay day, he even didn’t sign that contract with TO and he’s actually performed better offensively in TO 5on5 he just doesn’t get PP time like he did in Colorado. I personally think Dermott is the 7th D, he also gets hated for the sole reason that he didn’t live up to the expectation that Leafs fans set out for him when he came into the league, he’s been decent for us this year, Huttons super solid depth too tho. Lots of options come playoff time, excited for what is hopefully a long run

It was Dubas that signed him to that contract unfortunately. However at the time it was a solid signing. But I agree with all you have said otherwise!
