This year:
Vanek, Tatar, Marchenko are shipped to Anahiem for Vatanen. Ducks are higher on Lindholm and Fowler, so they'd move Vatanen for 2 rentals (one under RFA) and a solid 4/5 defenseman.

Smith, Jurco, Ott, and Miller all dealt at the deadline as well. Ott and Miller deals are conditional. Doesn't matter who the teams are.

Sheahan is picked up in the expansion draft. They get goalies elsewhere. (Protected were Nielsen, Zetterberg, Helm, Athanasiou, Mantha, Green, DeKeyser, Vatanen)

Next Year
Kronwall and Franzen are LTIR.

            Something to consider is that I believe. you can only LTIR 10% of the salary cap in any given year. So we wouldn't get full relief for Mule and Kronwall plus we'd have no flexibility in-season for call ups in case someone gets injured.

            Wasn't aware of the 10% rule, but if that's the case...Franzen could be traded to Arizona for a cap hit since they'll have 2 cap hits fall off after this season.
