Definitely a great basis for a contending roster, but to me this roster looks closer to a .500 team

Yeah in real life these guys would just sign similar contracts with contending teams, its really just a hypothetical

I don't know but I was shocked Hall signed here - yeah it didn't work out but Hall Eichel Reinhart, I really thought that was going to be a top line - Eichel is hurt from the first day, Hall puts it in low gear, Staal plays like an old man, and Eakin looks confused, our top goalie has family issues then gets injured, McCabe gets injured Risto gets the Covid bad - all our goalies are injured - I mean Sabres really need 3 or 4 top six forwards but they also need to get whatever curse they are under lifted.
