Idk about this, I think Eric Staal would need a bit more playing time if Ducharme wants to think about getting re-hired.

Hopefully he double shifts him to get all that speed on the ice.

Idk what they owe staal but he must be blackmailing them to keep getting into the lineup

The game plan is to put together the slowest lineup possible to compete against the fastest team in the North division. This can only end positively for the Habs and the coach.
