Why TF would Calgary protect Simone over Mangiapane. If its the 2 fowards exposed requirement SIGN AN DEPTH PEICE BEFORE EXPANSION AND EXPOSE THEM. Mangiapane has been amazing. We have Ritchie, Simone, Ryan and many others that will be exposed before Mangiapane

They have to meet exposure requirements. Obviously they'd want to but unless they get another forward that meets the games played requirement and is signed for next season they won't have a choice.

How many players will want to sign a contract just to be left exposed in the expansion draft?
