1. Can it change season to season in a deal? Like one year be half retained then the next 25%?
2. Can it be removed in a separate deal? Say Calgary and Edmonton were working on another deal while Lucic is still on his current contract which Edmonton retained on. Can Calgary agree to remove the retention for that little bit more value to get the deal done?
