Description

coleman - his game speaks for itself, he can score and isn't afraid to mix it up with anyone; a nice addition to the top 6
raffl - a physical forward who could add scoring to the bottom 6
hakanpaa - he gives the pens a physical defenseman which is something they haven't had in a long time
nemeth - same with nemeth, he would be a good signing because of his physical presence
armia - he had an up and down year in montreal but i think putting him beside one of sid, geno or carter would help his cause and hopefully provide some offense. sign him to a one yr deal. his xGoalsFor stood at 82% this year
nosek - someone worth taking it a look at

zuck, zar, petty and riikola are on LTIR because i envision them to be the ones traded to create cap room and to potentially retrieve picks

I like a lot of this but I do not see ZAR getting traded. I am starting to think keeping Pettersson is a decent idea given Dumo's decline. Riik is never getting traded. No one is giving anything up for a guy that never plays even though Sullivan should be using him. However, at this rate Sully should not be the coach next season

I was thinking about the petty thing and ya I think he's shown some good stuff this playoffs. They need to sign a big physical dman this offszn, hakanpaa and nemeth are good candidates and their underlining numbers aren't bad. Look at NY, pulock and pelech are 2 big bodies and their tossing guentzel around, the pens haven't had a guy like that in a while so that's a must in my eyes. Signing jaro halak would be nice because he's experienced and is still very capable. And I do think they should let malkin and letang ride out their contracts because they haven't been horrible this year and they still have something left in the tank. They just need capable guys beside them. We'll see what goes down in a couple months tho

Agreed at the start of the year he was painful to watch. He's slowly been a steady man and he hasn't costed the penguins anything this playoffs so I wouldn't say he's god awful rn. He has tons of potential but we'll see what management does with him

He is not god awful. Dumo was the worst defensemen on the team last night. Martinez is going to get paid idiot money by someone. ZAR is not going there. They will take Zucker because he is a better player and we are not protecting him
