The Pens didn't lose to the Isles because of their lack of grit. They were the better team for 4 of the 6 games. Jarry lost them this series. Adding players like Lawson Crouse just because they have size is how you shoot down this teams remaining chances of competing.

What did you want Sullivan to do? As mentioned before, the Pens were the better team this series and in the end it came down to goaltending. Sullivan should be given another year and then a coaching change should be considered.

Blowing 5.5M of cap on players that just aren't needed like Poolman and Nemeth (when better and cheaper alternatives are already on the roster) is simply unnecessary.

This team doesn't need a lot to be changed. Keep the roster generally the same aside from moving someone like Matheson and maybe adding a 3rd line winger.</div></div>
3 first round exits in a row, but somehow adding a third liner gets the team another cup? 😂😂
I hope hextall and burkie blow this team up and bring in a coach who isn’t an ego maniac.

I agree I just think GMRH is going to clean house. Considering the pens won’t compete for a cup with the roster they have, I don’t really see him and Burke going all in for another run. We need to start looking for the future and gaining value through the draft.

Letang and Malkin had stretches where they were good this year but it’s time to look for the future. We lack grit, size and compete. These two just aren’t able to dig deep like they once could. Try to get as much back for them now before their value crashes within the next couple years. Although it’s probable we keep them.
